    The sources of energy that we rely on will one day run dry. This hard fact will have to force us to seek alternative sources of energy for the daily lifestyles we choose. 
    This module showcases the various types of energy available to us and irons out which ones we need to start relying on more vs. the ones that we need to move on from. 
    Through practical and engaging activities, learners get to learn more about the world of energy.

    Fueling society

    In this module, students learn about natural resources that humans dig out the ground (such as coal) or pump (such as oil or natural gas) from the Earth's crust. They then learn about the power of the atom and how beneficial and how lethal (in the long term) nuclear energy can be. Students then explore alternative technologies in electricity generation.

    Impact of Energy

    In this module, students learn about energy and why it is important to us. Students then unpack the different energy resources and learn the challenges presented by different energy technologies and end off thinking about how to resolve these pertinent energy challenges.

    My Carbon Footprint

    In this module, students examine their energy habits and choices in terms of a "carbon footprint". Students start to understand how their individual actions impact the global environment. Students then start learning about alternative energy resources that are appropriate for their community.

    School Energy Audit

    In this module, students explore green energy in their school and discuss the benefits of a campus energy audit. Students investigate how energy is used around the school and document energy-intensive appliances. Students, need to compile, gather and align their data in a useful format to help them analyze the data efficiently. After analyzing, they reflect on its importance and begin considering ideas for improving energy usage on campus.

    What is Energy?

    This module introduces the learners to the concept of Energy and the various forms of energy that come from the sun, the food we eat and the lifestyles we live. 
    Through engaging activities, learners will gain a solid understanding of where we get energy from and how to best balance it in the lifestyle choices we make.
