Choosing and Refining a Solution

In this module,students take their chosen design solution to another level by assessing its strengths and weaknesses against the triple-bottom line, by creating a business model to describe their fine-tuned plan, by prototyping and iterating, and then by creating a strategic action plan. With continuous feedback from their stakeholders, this module helps convert their idea into reality and prepares them to begin sharing and selling their solutions in the final module.

Module key questions

  • Identify ways to strengthen the triple bottom line of their business solution.
  • Assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with their business solution.
  • Identify ways to capitalize on strengths and opportunities and mitigate weaknesses and threats related to their business solution.
